This week we were tweeting live from The Museums + Heritage Show, London, spreading the word of the past, present and future of Mather & Co.
The show sees exhibitors attend from around the world and allows us one on one time with the media, or to just to have a chat with those interested in what we do. It is also an important way to help suppliers meet with over 2000 key decision makers from Heritage and Cultural attractions across the UK and abroad.
Held at Olympia West, the Museums + Heritage show is widely regarded as leading trade event for the cultural/heritage sector and a ‘must do event.’ For us it is a key event on our social calendar and one we wouldn’t miss for the world.
Highlights from this year included the ask the experts talks, the chance to talk to the prestigious Arts Council and the increased footfall. There were more preregistered visitors this year than total visitors last year, so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
Wednesday evening saw the Museums + Heritage Awards and we are celebrating a wonderful commendation in the innovations category. Our work designing Archives+ at Manchester Central Library came second in the highly competitive category, fiercely battling off 1000’s who entered.
Sarah Clarke, Projects Director at Mather & Co., said, “This year we were back and bigger than ever, it was great to talk to some old faces and meet some new ones too. My personal highlight was obviously our wonderful commendation and letting people know about some amazing projects we have coming up.”
Until next year M+H Show
