Celebrating the man behind the new town
Mather & Co has worked with Aerocom, Fuzzy Duck and Fusion to develop a bespoke interactive that looks at the incredible life of Jock Campbell, the man behind the design of Milton Keynes. Housed at Milton Keynes Museum, this amazing airways-style exhibit allows visitors to explore his life and decision-making in a fun and highly interactive way.
Visitors are asked a series of five questions and, if they get the answer right, the material shoots through the tube structure to the next one. If they get the answer wrong, the material is thrown out into the exhibition space and they have to start again.
The exhibit is sponsored by a grant from AIM Biffa Award as part of its History Makers scheme – funding museums to create new exhibitions that will inspire the public through the lives and achievements of extraordinary historical figures who have made a significant impact shaping the world we live in today.
