Mather & Co worked with NBCUniversal and Emmy-winning writer Julian Fellowes to create the first fully immersive Downton Abbey experience. The exhibition has toured to venues across the world including Singapore, New York and Florida allowing visitors to peer inside the grand home of Downton Abbey, relive key moments from the programme and meet their favourite characters.
Our flexible design brings Fellowes’ script to life in clever and unusual ways, providing a fascinating insight into all aspects of the post-Edwardian period in which the TV series is set. Working with the award winning production team behind the TV series, Mather & Co has designed a fully immersive experience for fans. Visitors can come close to over 50 of the show’s official costumes and props as well as get the chance to walk through Downton Abbey’s most recognisable rooms and locations such as Mrs Patmore’s hectic kitchen, Carson’s pantry, the gossip-fuelled servants’ quarters and the elegant dining room and bedrooms of the Crawley residence.
